Terms & Conditions

1. The term "Musician" shall be taken to refer to all members of the string
quartet jointly and severally.

 

2. The Musician undertakes to perform at the Wedding or event listed in the quote and the Engager undertakes to pay the Musician the agreed Fees.

 

3. The Engager shall ensure that no part of the Musician's performance at the
Service is recorded, reproduced or transmitted without the prior written consent
of the Musician.

 

4. The Engager undertakes that no part of any recording will be commercially
exploited nor will it be published or made available online beyond the circle of
people who the Engager would reasonably expect to have been at the
Wedding, unless with the prior written agreement of the Musician.

5. The Engager will pay a £200 deposit on booking the quartet with the
remainder of the agreed amount payable one month before the wedding. The
deposit is non refundable.

 

6. If the Engager cancels the Musician’s performance at the wedding, the
Engager shall immediately notify the Musician of this in writing and pay the
Musician a cancellation fee set in relation to the length of notice given prior to
the date of the Performance:

​

• notice of four weeks or less - 100% of the Fees

• notice of more than four weeks but not less than twelve weeks - 50% of the Fees

• notice of more than twelve weeks - 0% of the Fees

 

7. If the Musician is unable to fulfil any part of this Agreement through illness or
other cause or delay which is beyond their reasonable control, they shall inform
the Engager of this fact as soon as possible and will use reasonable endeavours
to provide a suitable deputy but will otherwise be under no further obligation to
the Engager, and the Engager will be under no further obligation to the Musician with regard to the Fee. Such non-fulfilment or delay shall be deemed not to constitute a breach of this Agreement.
